Coming off a No. 20 preseason ranking from Collegiate Baseball News (CBN) and third-place projection in the Sunshine State Conference Coaches Poll, the Nova Southeastern baseball team was named as the No. 4 team in the preseason South Region Rankings. The poll was conducted by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), also naming Samuel Duran and Brady Acker to All-Region teams. FULL RELEASE
With the 2019 Division II baseball season coming up fast on the horizon, the Nova Southeastern baseball team received its second national ranking of the month, as Perfect Game lists the Sharks at No. 18 in their preseason poll. The national publication also released its Top Division II Prospects, naming Christian Demby, Brock Minich and Garrett Wolforth among the top-40.
Officials from the Sunshine State Conference office released the results of the 2019 Preseason SSC Women’s Tennis Coaches Poll, projecting Nova Southeastern at No. 4 as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Another round of honors and preseason rankings came in this week for Nova Southeastern baseball, as the Sharks received their third preseason top-25 nod from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), which listed NSU at No. 22. Heading into their February 3 spring opener at Flagler College, the national acclaim for the Nova Southeastern tennis team has grown as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the Sharks at No. 8 nationally in its 2019 Preseason Rankings. The association also selected singles players Ana Navas and Natalie Espinal, as well as doubles pair Navas and Daniela Obando among the national top-15. FULL RELEASE
