NSU Women’s Swim Team Ranked First by CSCAA

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released their January Top-25 Dual Meet rankings for January. The Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Swim program have reclaimed the top spot of the poll with both the Sunshine State Conference and NCAA National Championship meets looming. NSU’s men’s team moves up one spot, checking in at 14th in the rankings.

Nova Southeastern has been inside the top-four throughout the entire season. The Sharks women’s swim team, the back-to-back reigning Sunshine State Conference champions, are headlined by three national champion swimmers in Celina Marquez, Savanna Best, and Sasha Maslova. NSU finished the 2022-23 regular season with an 8-2 overall record, going 4-0 in SSC dual meets.

The Sunshine State Conference Championship is set to begin on Wednesday, February 15 and will continue through Saturday, February 18.
