Acclaimed Writer Comes to Performing Arts Center Nov. 16

Lauren Groff, who has been called one of the generation’s “finest living writers” by The New York Times, will take the stage at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, to share her experiences, inspirations, and creative process that have contributed to her remarkable and award-winning writing career.

Attendees will be captivated by Groff’s reflections on the craft of writing and discussion on what influences and informs her best-selling works. “The Vaster Wilds,” Groff’s latest novel, has been praised by the Los Angeles Times for “reinventing the adventure novel” and promises to be a tense and riveting tale of survival.

Attendees can look forward to an engaging discussion about the book and the processes that inform her mastery of the historical fiction genre. This event will be moderated by former WPLG Local 10 news anchor Laurie Jennings.
