Sharks Tennis Ranked No.8 in ITA Preseason Poll

Heading into their February 3 spring opener at Flagler College, the national acclaim for the Nova Southeastern tennis team has grown as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the Sharks at No. 8 nationally in its 2019 Preseason Rankings. The association also selected singles players Ana Navas and Natalie Espinal, as well as doubles pair Navas and Daniela Obando among the national top-15. FULL RELEASE

Swimming Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Recognition

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected a record 713 teams from 460 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2018 semester. Both the Nova Southeastern University men’s and women’s swimming teams found their names on the distinguished list. The women’s team finished the fall with a 3.50 grade point average, while the men’s team finished with a 3.25. FULL RELEASE

Sharks Gain Valuable Sports-Focused CPR and AED Experience

Helping its student-athletes to add another implement to their toolkit, the NSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) partnered with the Memorial Sports Medicine Center and One Beat CPR to deliver a Sports Focused, Hands-Only CPR and AED Training. In the inaugural group, eleven student-athletes attended the session on Friday, January 11 at the NSU RecPlex Fitness Room. The event was two hours long and consisted of two phases. Participating student-athletes received their CPR and AED certifications after the training. FULL RELEASE
